Introduction

The mountain where the White Pagoda, built during the Yuan Dynasty, is located is known as Baita Mountain. It was rebuilt in the 19th year of the Qing dynasty's Daoguang period (1839 AD). The mountain was named Baita Mountain because it originally had a white tower on the top. However, in 1958, people painted the White Pagoda red and renamed it as "Hongta Mountain", with "Hongta Chaohui" as its new attraction. From the top of the mountain, one can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery of "Hongta Chaohui", but also visit a Tobacco Museum.
