Introduction

Enter the main entrance of Nianbaoyuze Scenic Area and walk along the plank road, you can see the first lake - XianNv Lake. The road is now accessible to the XianNv Lake area. The lake water here is crystal clear, and you can see the highland lake fish underwater clearly. Every morning and evening, surrounded by thick fog and serene elegance, locals will throw agate, silver coins, and wind horses into the lake to pray for good luck. In the southeast corner of XianNv Lake stands a huge stone with a deep mark on its surface, leading straight into the lake. Legend has it that this is where the daughter of the Nianbao Mountain god married a hunter. Therefore, there is a Wensang Pool platform built under the stone, surrounded by fluttering prayer flags and continuous incense burning. Tourists can directly go to the XianNv Lake rental horse area from the entrance of the scenic area by car, which is about 4 kilometers away.

Transportation

To reach the Nianbaoyuze Scenic Area, visitors generally charter cars from places like Xining or Lanzhou because there is no public transportation available. 1. Xining summer car charters cost around 500 yuan per day and generally follow the 7-day Great Circle Line: Xining-Qinghai Lake-Dari-Nianbaoyuze-Aba-Langmusi-Labrang Monastery, before returning to Xining or Lanzhou. 2. Visitors can also charter cars from Dawu Town near Nianbaoyuze for a round trip of approximately 400 yuan. Xianv Lake is the first lake seen walking along the plank road from the main entrance of Nianbaoyuze Scenic Area. The road has been extended to the Xianv Lake Scenic Area, which is 4 kilometers from the entrance and accessible by car.
