Miyaluo
Miyaluo is one of the largest red leaf scenic areas discovered and opened in China. Every year during the golden autumn season, it becomes the most beautiful time of the year, with the mountains covered in spectacular red leaves! To see the red leaves here, you currently need to hike into the valleys on both sides of the road, and the timing of the red leaves varies each year, so remember to check with the scenic area before coming. Besides the red leaves, there are also unique buildings such as stone villages, ancient castles, and watchtowers of the Tibetan and Qiang ethnic minority villages, preserving many ancient customs.
Daocheng County
This place encompasses all the elements of the snowy plateau, with the Yading Scenic Area being the most famous. Within the scenic area, there are the renowned 'Three Holy Mountains': Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong, and Xianuoduoji. It also features the world's largest ancient glacier relics—Haizi Mountain, as well as beautiful red grasslands, poplar forests, Luorong Pasture, and the crystal-clear Milk Sea, Pearl Sea, and Five-Color Sea. It is hailed as 'the last piece of pure land on the blue planet.'
Xinduqiao
Xinduqiao is a small town in the western part of Kangding County, known as the 'Paradise of Photographers'. Generally, those traveling to Daocheng will pass through Xinduqiao. If you have time, be sure to stop here. The most beautiful scenery of Xinduqiao is mainly concentrated in a 10-kilometer scenic corridor 2 kilometers east and west of the town. Typical Tibetan villages are scattered along both sides of the road, nestled by mountains and rivers, with yaks and sheep dotting the landscape, creating a lively and leisurely atmosphere.
Xiapu
The beauty of Xiapu varies with the seasons. Between the tides, the exposed mudflats create a stunning painting, complemented by the mysterious shadows of fishing rods, the dreamlike sea homes, and the beautiful sunset glow... Every casual shot can be a masterpiece, which is the unique autumn scenery of Xiapu. The long coastline, shallow sea, and fine sandy mudflats of Xiapu attract many photography enthusiasts every year.
Fragrant Hills Park in Beijing is a royal garden with mountain and forest features. The park is home to numerous cultural relics and historical sites, such as 'Clear Snow on the Western Hills,' one of the Eight Great Sights of Yanjing, and 'Biyun Temple,' which combines architectural styles from the Ming and Qing dynasties. However, the most well-known and notable attraction here is the red leaves of Fragrant Hills in autumn, which is also the best season to visit the park. In 1986, it was also rated as one of the 'New Sixteen Sights of Beijing,' becoming the most vibrant autumn scenery in the capital.
Longji Rice Terraces
The Longji Rice Terraces have a history of over 650 years and are an extremely large group of terraces, known as the 'Crown of the World's Terraces.' The Longji Rice Terraces are divided into three parts: Jinkeng Terraces, Ping'an Zhuang Terraces, and Longji Ancient Zhuang Village Terraces. Scattered among the terraces are villages of the Yao and Zhuang ethnic groups. During the annual 'Clothes Drying Festival' of the Red Yao people, every household displays their colorful clothes and skirts, creating a dazzling sight.
