Introduction
Kongshan Baiyundong is located in Licheng County, Xingtai City, 56 kilometers away from Xingtai City and 86 kilometers away from Shijiazhuang City. It can be easily reached via the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Beijing-Shenzhen Expressway, and National Highway 107. This is a rare karst cave landscape formed in the Middle Cambrian 500 million years ago. Five caves have been opened with a total length of 4,000 meters and over 200 major scenic spots, including "Human World", "Heaven", "Hell", "Dragon Palace" and "Wonderland", each with a unique landscape. The entire cave is full of colorful stalactites, stalagmites, curtains, and flowers formed by carbonate. The size of the landscape varies, with the largest stalagmite having a circumference of 4.3 meters and the largest curtain being 8 meters wide, while the smallest landscape stalactite has a diameter of only a few millimeters. Kongshan Baiyundong was discovered in 1988, and after being developed and protected by experts and the local government, it was officially opened in 1990 and was designated as a national key scenic spot in 2002.
