Weize Pass, located 45 kilometers northeast of Pingding County, Yangquan City, is a famous pass on the Great Wall, known as the ninth pass of the Great Wall. The pass is located at the junction of Shanxi and Hebei provinces, and is considered a symbol of both provinces. It is a picturesque place with dangerous terrain and rich history. It is also known as Niangziguan, named after Princess Pingyang, the daughter of Emperor Gaozu of Tang Dynasty, who stationed her troops here. It is a popular tourist destination.

The Cangshan Scenic Area is located 18 kilometers north of Yuxian County. According to legend, this is where Zhao Wu, the illegitimate child of Zhao Dun, who was hidden by Cheng Ying during the Spring and Autumn Period. It was originally named Yushan, and later renamed Cangshan. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Zhao Dun, a nobleman of the State of Jin, was framed by Tu'an Ganjia and his entire family was killed. Cheng Ying and Gongsun Chujiu, the followers of Zhao Dun, hid Zhao Wu in Cangshan, but Gongsun Chujiu was also killed. Cangshan is the place where this story took place.

The Cangshan Temple is a large-scale complex consisting of the Wenzi Temple, the Sleeping Palace, the Canggu Cave, the Shusan Building, the Bayi Temple, the Baoen Temple, and the Qizhong Temple. The main building, the Wenzi Temple, is a city-level cultural heritage site.
