Introduction
Maqu County is located on the upper reaches of the Yellow River, and is the only county in the country named after the Yellow River. Its name comes from the Tibetan word for "peacock river". Near the Maqu Yellow River Bridge, the Yellow River turns, which is different from the Tangke Jiuku Yellow River First Bay scenic spot that most tourists are familiar with. The Yellow River has formed a "first bend of Jiuku Yellow River" stretching for 433 kilometers in Maqu County. The span is too large and the ground cannot appreciate the full view of the first bend. However, located more than 10 kilometers northeast of the county seat, tourists can enjoy the full view of the first bend, which is quite similar to the full view of the first bend. In addition, the first bridge of the first bend 4 kilometers away from the county seat is the first bridge built on the upper reaches of the Yellow River.
