Crescent Bay Wetland Park, A Serene Wetland Oasis Amidst Reeds

Introduction
The Crescent Bay Wetland Park is located in the ancient river channel of Panjin and named after its curved shape. As one of the best-preserved wetlands in China, it is located in the intertidal zone and has a strong sedimentation and purification effect. Many years ago, it was still covered by seawater, and the groundwater still has a salty taste. Later, it grew with reeds, forming one of the world's largest reed fields, and its stems are rich in fibers, an important raw material for papermaking, weaving, and traditional Chinese medicine. At the same time, the root system of reeds plays an important role in soil retention and preventing soil erosion. Here, clear and quiet waters of the Liao River surround the continuous reeds, birds hover in the sky, and fish swim in the water. Tourists can take a boat trip through the winding river channels, appreciate the beauty and tranquility of nature, and experience the sentiment of returning to simplicity. The serene beauty is perfect for relaxation of the body and mind. Address Zhaoquanhe Township, Dawei County, Panjin Red Beach Scenic Area, Liaoning Province
