Introduction

Rinqin Bong Monastery, located on the southern part of Zema La mountain in Motuo Village, is the largest temple in the area. According to legend, it was built about 8 generations ago by the living Buddha Ganbu from Ganbu Temple. Originally, it was a three-story stone-wood structure with 12 walls and four doors on the east, west, south, and north sides, and had many gold-plated copper Buddha statues. However, the ancient building was destroyed in an earthquake in 1950 and was later rebuilt as a two-door building. The scenery inside and outside the temple is beautiful, where ancient culture and beautiful scenery complement each other, giving people a sense of simplicity and elegance. It is worth a visit.
