Yubeng
Difficulty level: high. In the depths of the Meili Snow Mountain, there is a Tibetan ancient village, which is known in the circle of backpackers for its secluded location, picturesque village, tranquil surroundings, towering green mountains, snowy peaks, winding rivers, and pristine deep forests, resembling the 'Peach Blossom Spring' depicted by Tao Yuanming. Yubeng is an epic hiking route within China, praised by backpackers as the 'last paradise on earth,' 'heaven above, Yubeng below,' 'a timeless paradise at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain,' 'a secluded place under the sacred mountain and holy water,' and 'a paradise for hikers.' However, no matter how many accolades it receives, Yubeng remains secluded and independent from the outside world.
Anago
Difficulty level: Low. Anaguo is located in Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Shitouxiaotao Village, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is also known as Anagu and Anage. The hiking route created by Anaguo Village and Lijiang Aladdin Travel Agency is a newly emerging entry-level hiking holy land in China. There are original forests, alpine pastures, sunrise and sea of clouds, azalea forests, fir forests, hemlock forests, rugged rocky mountains, iris valleys, and echoing rivers in the area, with the reputation of 'Anaguo in the sky, Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou on earth' and 'Rainstorm of ten years ago'.
Haba snow mountain
Difficulty level: High. The Haba Snow Mountain is located in the southeast of Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with the highest altitude of 5396 meters. The mountain top is covered with snow all year round, like a crystal clear pagoda standing on the dreamy land of Shangri-La. Haba Snow Mountain is almost a must-visit place for mountain climbers and is also suitable for novice climbers. The best climbing seasons are from March to June and from September to December, while other seasons are mostly rainy and windy. Although most tourists come to Haba Snow Mountain for climbing, it also has beautiful natural scenery. It is home to almost the entire genus of azaleas in northwest Yunnan, and different species of azaleas can be seen at different altitudes, making it known as the 'mother of the world's gardens' by biologists at home and abroad.
Yulong Snowmountain
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a national scenic area in China, a 5A national tourist attraction, and a national geological park. It is the sacred mountain of the Naxi people. The Emperor of Nanzhao personally conferred it as the 'Northern Yue', and the founding Emperor of the Yuan Dynasty, Kublai Khan, conferred it as the 'Great Holy Northern Yue, Establishing the Country and Securing the Nation's Peace and Prosperity'. It is also the filming location for popular film and television works such as 'Fights Break Sphere', 'Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils', 'The Wind Blows at the Mu's Residence', 'Youth', 'Extreme Challenge', and 'Journey to the West'. The main peak, Shanzidou, has an altitude of 5596 meters and is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, making it an unconquered virgin peak. Composed of 12 snow-capped peaks, the snow mountain has rich natural tourism resources, including snowfields, glaciers, alpine meadows, and primitive forest landscapes.
