Introduction
Shimenjian is one of the famous scenic spots in Mount Lu, located near the suspension bridge. Mount Lu is known for its "cliffs, sea of clouds, and waterfalls", all of which are concentrated in Shimenjian. This attraction boasts one of Mount Lu's most spectacular cliffs - the iron-ship-shaped cliff on the eastern side, and is also known as "the Cave of Clouds and Mists" in Mount Lu. Shimenjian Waterfall is one of the largest waterfalls in Mount Lu, and the "terraced-landform breakneck mountain" is particularly prominent here, which is breathtaking. Shimenjian is one of the most typical and majestic mountain valleys in Mount Lu, and it is also an ideal location to observe Mount Lu's rare Quaternary glaciation relics, such as ice steps, ice basins, ice slides, ice scars, and ice ridges.
