Introduction

In the 5.67 million acres of natural environment in the Ejina Populus Euphratica forest, there is a Populus euphratica tree known as the "god tree" by the locals. This "god tree" is 880 years old, located 25 kilometers north of Dalaibu Town in Ejina Banner, 23 meters high, and 2.07 meters in diameter. It takes six adults holding hands to encircle its trunk. This god tree is the king of Ejina Populus euphratica trees and an important carrier for local people to worship the heavens. Every winter and early spring, herdsmen come piously to pray for good weather and prosperous livestock. Within 30 meters around the god tree, there are also five strong Populus euphratica trees growing, called "mother and daughter trees" by the herdsmen, which look spectacular from afar. As a typical landscape of the Ejina Populus euphratica forest, the god tree has become a symbol of the Populus euphratica forest, attracting visitors from home and abroad to admire its magnificent and beautiful scenery.
