Introduction

Haizigou is a must-pass route of Mount Siguniang, with a total length of about 19.2 kilometers. Climbers usually start climbing various peaks from here, hiking or horseback riding to reach Camp One and Base Camp, thus beginning the assault on Dafeng, ErFeng, SanFeng, and Main Peak. The original scenery of Haizigou is extremely magnificent, with more than ten high mountain lakes, such as Huahaizi, Fu Hai, Bai Hai, Lan Hai, and Huang Hai. These lakes have clear water and are breathtaking. Unlike Shuangqiao Gou and Changping Gou, Haizigou is neither as simple as Shuangqiao Gou nor as narrow as Changping Gou. The first half (Guozhuangping, Chaoshanping) is mainly high mountain grassland, which is the best place to appreciate Mount Siguniang and the best place for photographers to shoot scenic spots such as Rizhao Jinshan. The second half is mainly the scenery of Haizi, but it is too far away and most tourists cannot reach there because of the high altitude (about 4,200 meters). Therefore, true backpackers like this place the most, and can only experience it by walking or horseback riding. It is recommended to camp in the valley for one night and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Haizigou.
