Introduction

Yaomei Peak is an eternal classic peak in Mount Siguniang, and also a symbol of the technical ability of climbers. This mountain has witnessed many climbing myths and legends, and also tested the physical and mental strength of climbers. There are the footprints of excellent climbers and the tears of the failed on the rock veins of this mountain. Climbing Yaomei Peak requires true courage and determination, and only those who can withstand hardships can seize its honor and conquer its difficult peaks. The route to climb Yaomei Peak is: south wall to southeast ridge -> south wall to southwest ridge -> central straight up the south wall -> southwest ridge -> north wall -> east wall -> northwest wall -> central straight up the south wall.

Transportation
Need to arrive at Changpinggou Scenic Area first. Shuttle bus: 1. The most convenient way to get to Mount Siguniang from Chengdu is to go to the Teahouse Bus Station and take a bus. This is also the only station with buses to Mount Siguniang. Take the Chengdu-Xiaojin bus, which departs at around 6:30am every day and takes about 6-8 hours. The bus will pass through scenic areas such as Dujiangyan, Yingxiu, Wolong, and Balang Mountain. The ticket is 68 yuan/person. The bus can only reach Xiaojin County, and then take a taxi or charter a car to Mount Siguniang Scenic Area. Other conditions are basically the same as the shuttle bus. Self-driving: 1. Depart from Chengdu and take the Chengguan Expressway to Dujiangyan, then take the Dumen-Wenjiang Expressway to Yingxiu, and then take the Provincial Road 303 (second-level ecological highway) via the Wolong Panda Reserve and the Balang Mountain, a total of about 200 kilometers. 2. Take the Chengya Expressway to Ya'an (139 kilometers), and then cross the Jiajin Mountains via Baoxing to reach Mount Siguniang (fourth-level mountainous road), a total of about 361 kilometers. After entering the scenic area, follow the Lama Temple-7 kilometers of plank road for sightseeing-and then hike along the mountain path from the lower reaches of the south wall of the Yaomei Peak, and pass through the Upper Ganhai Zi.
