Introduction

This comprehensive eco-tourism scenic area is located in the northeast of the Bohai Sea with a rich display of natural and cultural landscapes. Additionally, the Red Beach Pier is the only wooden structure built on mudflats in the world. The view from the Nine Bends Corridor Bridge is stunning. The best time to visit is before October when the salt marshes are at their peak growth.

Transportation

1. Dedicated Bus: Take the bus from Xinglongtai Jinjiang Hotel in the city to Honghaitan Resort, which operates about once per hour and takes about 1.5 hours. At the entrance of the resort, transfer to a taxi or tricycle to get to the entrance of Honghaitan Scenic Area, which takes about 10 minutes. 2.
