Introduction

This city is recognized as a famous historical and cultural city by the country. It has been praised by well-known New Zealand writer Louis Edelman and is known as the most beautiful small city in China. Comparable to Lijiang ancient city and Pingyao ancient city, it is referred to as "North Pingyao, South Fenghuang". Within the city, there are bluestone roads, unsullied stilted buildings, many old buildings, and a strong Miao culture, which together create a unique Xiangxi characteristic.
