Shi Ping Mountain is the barrier to the north of Zhenyuan Ancient Town, facing Qinglong Cave across the river, and it is also the highest point of the ancient town. From the summit of Shi Ping Mountain, you can have a panoramic view of Zhenyuan Ancient Town, with its narrow and deep ancient lanes, as well as the eight trigrams shape of the ancient town. The meandering Wuyang River runs through the city, with Miaojiang Great Wall perched on the mountain, and the buildings in Qinglong Cave are of various architectural styles. There are two routes to ascend Shi Ping Mountain, one is to climb Yuping Mountain from the Shensheng Bridge, which is free to enter before 8 AM in the morning and after 5 or 6 PM in the afternoon; the other is to walk through the "Sifangjing Lane" or "Fuxing Lane" in the pedestrian street of the ancient town, which is the route for the locals to go up the mountain and of course also a shortcut to avoid paying the entrance fee.

Tang'an Dong Village is located approximately 5km near Zhaoxing, with an altitude of 935m. There are over 800 villagers and the village has been established for over 700 years. Tang'an is one of the four ecological and cultural protection areas supported by Norway in Guizhou. It is a true pastoral world surrounded by mountains, with a network of paths crisscrossing the terraced fields. Starting from the entrance of Zhaoxing Village, passing through Xiage Village halfway up the mountain, and reaching Tang'an Village on the mountain top, this route is almost entirely composed of terraced fields. It is also regarded as a classic hiking route, which takes about 3 hours to complete. Along the way, there are overlapping peaks, cascading terraces, and houses built on the mountainside, hanging above the ground in an orderly manner.
