Clear river water with swaying water plants underneath

Introduction

The source of Fenghuang Ancient Town is the mother river, Tuojiang. The river is clear and the vegetation is green, making it a great place for boating and admiring the scenery. There are many boats on the Tuojiang, including formal tourist boats upstream. Visitors can board at the dock north of the North Gate Tower, sail east, and get off at Wanshou Palace. Along the way, they can enjoy the scenery on the river, which is very pleasant. Downstream, there are private boats of local farmers. Visitors can board at the Guanguang Bridge Dock and purchase tickets separately. In summer evenings, visitors can enjoy boating trips. The early morning Tuojiang is also stunning, with mist rising from the riverbank and locals gently washing their clothes by the river. It is a beautiful sight not to be missed when visiting the ancient town.

All day from 08:00-18:00 (Tuojiang River rafting - day tour), from 18:00-23:00 (Tuojinag River rafting - night tour).

Transportation

Walking inside the ancient town of Fenghuang, you can reach the banks of the Tuojiang River. You can take a boat ride on the Tuojiang River with "Tuojiang Boat Tour", or you can walk and tour on both sides of the Tuojiang River.
