Introduction
Tulamben, located in the northeast of Bali, is famous for its diving expeditions. The most famous among them is the diving expedition to the sunken ship, which is about 120 meters long and is an American Liberty ship. On January 11, 1942, the ship was stranded here after being attacked by Japanese torpedoes. After the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963, the ship broke in two and sank into the sea at a depth of 10-30 meters. Today, it has become one of the best diving destinations in Bali. The diving expedition costs $110 (with PADI certification) or $125 (without certification), including two dives, round-trip transportation, lunch, and more. Address Tukad Abu, Bali, 80853, Indonesia
