Introduction
Digar Island, located in the northeast of Brunei, is 10 kilometers away from the west coast of Sabah. This island is 2.8 miles long and 1 mile wide, with a total area of approximately 20.7 square kilometers and a highest point of 330 feet above sea level. Digar Island is protected and has become a national park. Since its establishment in 1985, it has protected the island's buildings, nearby coral reefs, and two other islands, also known as "Snake Island". There are still mud volcanoes on the island that constantly spew out warm mud.
