Introduction

The Tun Mustapha Tower was built in 1977 and was originally called the Sabah Foundation Building. Located in Kota Kinabalu, it is one of the most iconic buildings in Sabah. The main building is circular and supported by a central core and 96 steel cables radiating outwards. Inside the tower, there is an exhibition hall dedicated to former Chief Minister Tun Mustapha Harun, a grand theater, two smaller theaters, an exhibition hall, a gymnasium and a small library, providing a platform for people to learn about the people of Borneo.
