Introduction

Hebei Museum, located in China, is a large-scale provincial museum with an exhibition area of over 22,000 square meters and a collection of 240,000 items, including 340 Level-1 cultural relics, 1,926 Level-2 cultural relics, and 17,383 Level-3 cultural relics. In addition, the museum also houses over 50,000 books, including many rare books from the Ming and Qing dynasties, and is one of the major collection units of Hebei local chronicles. Among the impressive collections of Hebei Museum, the most notable is the Gold Thread Embroidery Garment of Liu Sheng from the Western Han Dynasty. This national treasure is the first and highest-standard jade burial garment discovered in China and one of the 64 permanent treasures that are prohibited from leaving the country. The museum also showcases many other historically significant and valuable collections, such as the Iron Foot Copper Cauldron from the Warring States period. To fully appreciate the wonderful exhibitions at Hebei Museum, visitors are advised to prepare enough time. Especially for those who love history, Hebei Museum is definitely a place where they can immerse themselves for a whole day.
