Introduction

Also known as the Shenyang Imperial Palace, it is one of the only two surviving ancient palace complex in China, as well as a historic and cultural site rich in significance. The palace contains 114 ancient buildings and over 500 rooms, showcasing a vast collection of precious cultural relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties, which are still well-preserved today. The grandiosity and magnificence of the entire palace exudes the royal essence, while the unique "high palaces and low buildings" architectural style is rare in the history of Chinese palace architecture. Additionally, the palace provides two luggage storage and two tour guide stations, located respectively at the entrances of the Dachingmen and Sifenmen gates.

Bus: Take bus No. 117/118/132/140/213/222/228/257/276/287/290/292/294/296 to the Forbidden City stop, and walk about 5 minutes to arrive; Take bus No. 105/113/117/131/133/150/168/218/219/237/248/273/298 to the Dahongmen stop, walk west for about 10 minutes after passing Dahongmen (Fujinmen) to arrive; Take bus No. 207/212/224/227/326/333/334 to the Daximen (Huaiyuanmen) stop, walk east for about 10 minutes after passing Huaiyuanmen to arrive. Subway: Take Line 1 of the subway to Zhongjie Station and Huaiyuanmen Station, and walk about 10 minutes to arrive; Transfer to Line 1 at Qingnian Avenue Station on Line 2 of the subway.
