Introduction
The site of the former Yunnan Military Academy, located on Cuihu West Road in Kunming, Yunnan, adjacent to Cuihu Park and Yunnan University, has become one of the three must-visit attractions for tourists. As early as 1909, this building was constructed as one of the three major military academies in the country. Hundreds of outstanding military and revolutionary figures such as Zhu De and Ye Jianying have studied here. Today, this yellow Republican style small building is still well-preserved with a beautiful exterior that is especially pleasant in sunny weather. The interior of the building has been transformed into an exhibition hall, including the former lecture hall, arsenal, and long-term exhibitions introducing important historical events such as the history of the Military Academy, the September 9th Uprising, and the National Protection Movement.
