Introduction

Rosenborg Palace is the royal treasury of Denmark and also a beautiful palace. It was built in 1606 by King Christian IV who purchased the land and planned the construction. The palace consists of three pointed towers, with red walls adorned with gray stone in the Renaissance style. The interior of the palace is rich and colorful, with gilded mirrors, Dutch-style wall paintings, silver lions, and various gold and silver objects, showcasing the luxurious life of the royal family. In the basement Royal Danish Treasury, you can admire many precious royal treasures, such as the crown of Christian IV, the sword of Christian III, and the pearls of Queen Margrethe II. Additionally, at noon, you can also visit the exhibition of royal jewels.
