Gothenburg trip, children's favorite place

Gothenburg, as a family-friendly city, welcomes children of all ages to come and explore. Here, you can find the largest amusement park on the Scandinavian Peninsula, Liseberg, as well as the Science Experience Center Space Museum and various fun playgrounds, museums, and city parks. With a wealth of outdoor spaces, professional child-oriented design, and convenient transportation, traveling with children becomes easy and enjoyable.

No matter if you're a three-year-old child or an eighty-three-year-old senior, you'll always be able to find amusement rides that suit your needs at Liseberg amusement park. Various rides are popular among tourists in the summer. If you find Balder and Kanonen too exciting, don't worry, there are other rides to choose from, such as small carousels and the classic "wild river" surfing project, which will surely make children happy.

Universeum

It includes an aquarium, a space museum, a tropical rainforest, a creative zone, an entertainment area, and a game zone... suitable for children of all ages. Even though all activities are indoors, it gives kids the feeling of being in nature and embracing the universe, enough to keep them lingering on. The restaurant offers various fast food options and microwave to heat up children's food.

City Park (slotsskogen)

A great outdoor location in the center of Gothenburg. Here you can find Sweden's largest amusement park Plikta, as well as a natural paradise where children can get up close with animals and learn about nature. During the months from April to September, the petting zoo is also open, and adorable little animals will bring surprises to children. The entire park is designed for families with children in mind: children's toilets, nursing rooms, and microwaves are freely available, and the park café is also designed for easy access with strollers.

Gothenburg City Library

Is the library a place only for adults? Gothenburg City Library is a favorite of children. The newly decorated library is located in the city center with convenient transportation. The super large reading room displays children's books in 42 languages, and the reading area is also a play area for children. Here, you will see many babies who haven't learned to walk yet, but have already touched the books. The library's café offers healthy food.
