Minjiang Pearl, City of Banyan Trees, Eight Must-Visit Internet-Famous Attractions in Fuzhou

Located in the eastern part of Fujian Province, downstream of the Minjiang River, Fuzhou, also known as Rongcheng, is renowned as an important coastal city for foreign trade and as the "City of Romance". Fuzhou has a long history and numerous cultural relics, including ancient narrow streets, fragrant and ancient temples, and scattered former residences of famous people outside the city, all of which exude a strong cultural heritage and the tranquil lifestyle of the people of Fuzhou.

Fuzhou National Forest Park

Fuzhou National Forest Park, located in Chiqiao Village, Xindian Town, on the northern outskirts of Fuzhou, is the first national-level forest park in Fujian Province and one of the top ten forest parks in the country. It is a natural oxygen bar in Fuzhou, with abundant vegetation and ample oxygen. During holidays every year, many people come here for mountain climbing, barbecue, and family outings.

West Lake Park

"West Lake Park" is located in the northwest part of Fuzhou City. It has a history of over 1700 years and is one of the most well-preserved classical gardens in Fuzhou. It has a long history. The park has eight scenic spots of West Lake, including Xianqiao Willow Color, Dreaming Pine Sound, Ancient Temple Xin Yang, Crystal First Moon, and Evening Singing in the Lotus Pavilion.

Xichan Ancient Temple

Located at the foot of Yishan Mountain in the western suburbs of Fuzhou City, on the south side of the west side of Gongye Road, it is one of the five major Zen temples in Fuzhou and is a key temple in the country. The temple was built during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, but was abandoned at the end of the Sui Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the eighth year of the Tang Dynasty and named Qingchan Temple, later renamed Yanshou Temple and Xichan Temple.
Sanfang Qixiang, located in the center of Fuzhou city, is the collective name for ten lanes arranged in sequence from north to south along Nanhou Street. "Sanfang" refers to Yijin Lane, Wenru Lane, and Guanglu Lane. "Qixiang" refers to Yangqiao Lane, Langguan Lane, Anmin Lane, Huang Lane, Ta Lane, Gong Lane, and Jibi Lane.
Wu Mountain, also known as Dao Mountain, is one of the landmarks of Fuzhou, located in the central part of the city. It is famous for its unique and rugged mountain peaks, beautiful forests, and numerous temples and pavilions. It has been a popular tourist destination since the Tang Dynasty, known for its thirty-six unique views.

Gushan

Gushan Scenic Area is located in the eastern suburbs of Fuzhou City, on the north bank of the Minjiang River. It is considered to be the most famous scenic area in Fuzhou City. It is named Gushan because there is a huge boulder on the peak that makes a rumbling sound whenever there is wind and rain.

Luoxingta Park

Luo Xing Tower Park is located on Luo Xing Mountain at the confluence of the Sanhe River in the lower reaches of the Minjiang River in Fuzhou. The most important attraction in the park is Luo Xing Tower, which can be said to be a landmark building in Fuzhou Maji. According to legend, Luo Xing Tower was built in the Southern Song Dynasty and was included in Zheng He's navigation map in the early Ming Dynasty. Since then, it has gradually become an internationally recognized navigational landmark and is known as the "Chinese Tower" at the gateway of the Minjiang River.

Yongtai Qingyun Mountain Scenic Area

Qingyun Mountain Scenic Area is located at the intersection of Linglu Township, Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, and Hanjiang District, Putian City. It is named after the mountains that rise up from the flat land and stand tall in the blue sky. The scenic area has unique peaks, deep valleys, and numerous waterfalls. It is an ecological tourism area that combines canyons, forests, waterfalls, ancient volcanic craters, alpine pastures, and bird nature reserves.
