It has an authentic taste and is highly praised by diners. However, friends who can't eat spicy food are recommended to try the mildly spicy option. It strives to create a large-scale tourism and cultural complex in Pingtan that integrates "eating, living, traveling, shopping, entertainment" and is suitable for business and living. The ancient city not only has large-scale restaurants, snacks from Fujian and Taiwan, and temple fair snacks, but also features five-star hotels and traditional courtyard guesthouses. It also has a special tourist merchandise street that gathers exquisite products from all directions. Especially, the ancient city has unique variety shows, large-scale humanistic theme parks, Mazu Temple, Confucian Temple, City God Temple, yamen, escort agencies, the Huguang Guild Hall, and the Taiwan Guild Hall, as well as various leisure and entertainment facilities, making visitors reluctant to leave. The street stall is very close to the East Sea Paradise, so you can go there when you are tired. The dishes in the shop are mainly seafood, all of which are very fresh live fish and live shrimp. There are also Pingtan specialty snacks such as fried dough twist and oyster pancake, all of which are very delicious.

Xiaobei Village is the main filming location for "Dad, Where Are We Going? 5". The village is nestled between mountains and the sea, with most of the houses being well-preserved ancient stone dwellings. Almost every home has a window with a direct view of the vast sea. There are several ancient wells in the village, providing cool and sweet water. In the front of the village, there is a sheltered harbor where small fishing boats often dock. The village has a picturesque view from above. Climbing Xiaobei Mountain is a must when visiting the village. After entering the village, head towards the temple at the higher ground. Behind the temple, there is a narrow path that leads to the Xiaobei Mountain. The path is not very steep, making it relatively easy to walk, but the sea breeze here is strong, so caution is advised. Xiaobei Mountain offers a wide view of the vast sea, making it a great place to shout and release stress. On the mountain, there is also a unique scenic line where you can often see villagers raising goats and goats running and grazing on steep slopes, which is quite interesting. The drinks sold in the village's small shops are relatively expensive, usually around 2 yuan more than outside. Therefore, it is recommended to bring some drinks and snacks in advance when visiting. Cars can be parked at the pier, and "tricycles" can be hired for transportation on the island.
