Tao Shunü
St. Mary's College for Girls was established in Fuzhou, China by the Anglican Church of England in 1890. The school placed great emphasis on religious education and particularly focused on teaching the Fuzhounese dialect (Pinghua) written in Roman letters, invented by foreign missionaries.

The American YWCA (later renamed as United Methodist Church) was founded in Huazhong Girls' College in Fuzhou, China in 1939, which is one of the predecessors of Fujian Normal University. Today, many Indonesian beauties are studying Chinese here.
Machang Street Christian Church
Ma Chang Street Christian Church, located on Ma Chang Street, Duihu Road, Cangshan District, Fuzhou, China, was originally Taoyuan Road Twelve Rows Meeting Hall, the first local church in China - the first meeting hall of Fuzhou Church, called Ma Chang Street Meeting Hall, founded by retired navy officers Wang Zai and Trinity College student Ni Tuosheng. Soon, Wang Lianjun, Lu Zhongxin, Miao Shouxun, and Wang Zhi joined in. Starting from 1923, they formally rented twelve row houses, called "Christian Church". In 1936, after the relocation of the stadium, it was renamed "Christian Believers Church". In 1955, overseas Chinese Qiu Shaoling donated his private residence on Ma Chang Street to the church, covering an area of about 500 square meters. This was Zhang Qizhen's responsibility. It was closed during the Cultural Revolution in 1966. The reopened "Ma Chang Street Christian Church".

Located at No. 1 Qianjie, the northern part of Minjiang River in Cangshan District, Fuzhou, St. Paul's Catholic Church covers an area of 8,400 square meters and is built in the Gothic style. The Gothic single tower above the main gate is surrounded by bells. With its pointed clock tower facing the north bank of the Minjiang River, it was once known as the largest church in Jiangnan, with its clock chimes heard over ten miles away. Today, this building is designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage site and is still known as the largest cathedral in Fujian province, due to its large area, typical architectural style, and elegant decoration.
