Introduction

The Cangshan Scenic Area is located on a mountain to the north of Yuxian County. It is said that this was the place where Cheng Ying and Gong Sun Chou Jou hid to save Zhao Wu, the posthumous son of Zhao Dun, during the Spring and Autumn Period. Originally named Yushan, it was later renamed Cangshan. This belongs to the branch of the Taihang Mountain, with two peaks facing each other on the north and south of the mountain, presenting a beautiful view. There is a well-preserved Cangshan Temple built on the mountain, which was built in the Yuan Dynasty and underwent renovations during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Inside the temple, there are buildings such as a carved screen, archway, mountain gate, palace, and pavilion, as well as scenic spots such as Canggu Cave and Ji'en Cave.
