Camel Way Village, located at the junction of Yuxian County and Wutai County, is the northernmost village in Yuxian County. Camel Way Village is situated at an altitude of 1800 meters with rugged terrain. Tucked away in the mountains, Camel Way Village is a typical ancient village in the Taihang Mountains, hanging on a hillside. The whole village is surrounded by mountains, creating a harmonious natural pattern of yin and yang, with wind gathering and qi converging. The name of the village is said to have originated from the fact that it used to be a must-pass route for camel caravans of Jin merchants, hence the name "Camel Way". Another explanation is that the mountain behind the village resembles a camel's hump, hence the name Camel Way Village.
