Chongqing Heishan Valley Scenic Area is a top-level scenic spot in China, honored with the titles of AAAAA level scenic area, national geological park, and national forest park. Here, the mountains are high and the waters are long, with marvelous and varied natural landscapes; the mountains are lush, the waves ripple, and the waterfalls pour down, making one feel as if they are in a hidden fairyland.
In spring, the emerald waves and gentle valleys, with birds chirping and flowers fragrant, make one linger; in summer, the lush forests shade the sky, and the cool breeze brushes the face, providing a refreshing feeling; in autumn, the maple leaves are fiery red, with flocks of wild animals in the mountains, picturesque and poetic; in winter, draped in silver, with a blanket of white snow, the beauty is overwhelming.
There are very few inhabitants here, rumored to have once been the summer palace of the king of the ancient Yelang kingdom, with a long history; the canyon is deep, with clear and emerald waters; walking through it, the canyons, caves, and waterfalls reflect each other, revealing a different paradise; the variety of flora and fauna is abundant, and the ecological environment is perfectly protected. Rare species such as the black leaf monkey, silver fir, dichroa, and clouded leopard thrive here, earning the title of "Yuqian Biological Gene Bank," making it the most primitive and ecologically well-preserved natural scenic area in the Chongqing region.

The Longlin Stone Sea Scenic Area, with a geological age of approximately 465 to 600 million years, is the oldest stone forest in China. The scenic area has six main functional areas: "Dragon Scale Wonder Exploration, Geological Park Science Education, Romantic Interpretation, Red Miao Culture Display, Sports and Athletics Experience, and Ecological Stone Forest Conservation." It features three unique rock formations: "Stone Fan, Stone Drum, and Stone Turtle"; three extraordinary stone forest types: "Water Stone Forest, Mist Stone Forest, and Cave Stone Forest"; three educational sections: "Zhendan Jiaoshi Valley, Fossil Corridor, and Geological Park"; and twelve core attractions including "Taohuawu, Dragon Scale Flower Sea, and Miao King Palace." It was awarded the National 5A-level Tourist Attraction on October 29, 2012.
