Introduction

Chongqing Heishangu Scenic Area is a top-level scenic spot in China, honored with the titles of AAAAA scenic area, national geological park, and national forest park. Here the mountains are high and the waters long, the natural scenery is wondrous and diverse, with overlapping green mountains, rippling clear waves, and cascading waterfalls, making one feel as if they are in a hidden fairyland. In spring, the emerald waves and fragrant flowers attract visitors to linger; in summer, the dense forest shades the sky and the cool breeze refreshes the face; in autumn, the red maple leaves and flocks of wild animals create a picturesque scene; in winter, adorned in silver, the snow is breathtakingly beautiful. There are very few people here, and it is rumored to have been the summer palace of the King of Yelang in ancient times, with a long history; the canyon is deep, with clear and emerald waves, and walking through it, the canyons, caves, and waterfalls complement each other, revealing unique wonders; the variety of flora and fauna is abundant, and the ecological environment is perfectly protected, with rare species such as the black leaf monkey, silver fir, dove tree, and clouded leopard thriving here, earning it the title of "Yuqian Biological Gene Bank," making it the most primitive and ecologically well-preserved natural scenic area in the Chongqing region.

Transportation

Bus routes: From the 4-kilometer transportation hub in the main urban area of Chongqing, take a long-distance bus to Wansheng, which takes about 90 minutes. Transfer to bus route 113 at the Wansheng bus station and get off at the South Gate of Heishangu Valley, which takes about 40 minutes.
