Introduction

The Longlin Stone Sea Scenic Area, with a geological age of approximately 465 to 600 million years, is the oldest stone forest in China. The scenic area has six main functional areas: "Dragon Scale Wonder Exploration, Geological Park Science Education, Romantic Interpretation, Red Miao Culture Display, Sports and Athletics Experience, and Ecological Stone Forest Conservation." It features three unique rock formations: "Stone Fan, Stone Drum, and Stone Turtle"; three extraordinary stone forest types: "Water Stone Forest, Mist Stone Forest, and Cave Stone Forest"; three educational sections: "Zhendan Jiaoshi Valley, Fossil Corridor, and Geological Park"; and twelve core attractions including "Taohuawu, Dragon Scale Flower Sea, and Miao King Palace." It was awarded the National 5A-level Tourist Attraction on October 29, 2012.

Transportation
Bus Route: Take a long-distance bus from Chenjiaping, Caiyuanba or Nanping Long-Distance Bus Station to Wansheng District, the fare is 38 yuan and the journey takes about 90 minutes. After arriving at Wansheng Bus Station, take the No. 111 bus directly to the scenic area. Self-Driving Route: Inner (outer) ring expressway - Chongqing-Guizhou expressway - Qiwang expressway - Longlin Stone Sea Scenic Area.
