Pigeon Point Lighthouse is 115 feet tall and has a history of over 130 years. It is one of the tallest lighthouses in the United States. Many photographers come to visit every November to capture a photo of the lighthouse illuminated by the Fresnel lens, which can reach a brightness of 500,000 candelas. This opportunity only happens once a year, so don't forget to snap a photo if you drive by.
