Introduction

The Castello di Milazzo is located on top of a small hill, overlooking the whole town. The builder of the castle is still unknown, but it is believed to have been built by the Arabs. Currently, only the historic cathedral area, Benedictine monastery, and archaeological zone of the castle are open to the public.
