Introduction

In the late 17th century, the Biscari family began construction on a luxurious palace with 700 rooms. Unfortunately, the palace was destroyed in a major earthquake in 1693, but in the following decades, the Biscari family decided to rebuild the palace. Finally, in 1763, the palace was completed. The banquet hall is influenced by 18th century Rococo style, featuring intricate mirrored and mural decorations, showcasing symbols of fashion and wealth of the time.
