Introduction

Kursunlu Waterfall covers an area of 394 hectares and was designated as a natural park in 1991 for its healthy ecological structure. The rich plant community and the blending of water and rocks at Kursunlu Waterfall create a unique natural landscape. The main plants in the area are pine trees, but there are also arborvitae, laurel trees, carob trees, wild olive trees, frankincense trees, willow trees, and fig trees. The aquatic plants include water lilies, water mint, bamboo, water celery, and lotus. Animals found here include wild boars, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, bats, kingfishers, woodpeckers, turtle doves, carps, turtles, snakes, and lizards.
