Introduction
The New Valide Mosque (Turkish: Yeni Valide Camii) is an Ottoman Empire mosque located on the Iskele Road in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, Turkey. It was built between 1708 and 1710 by the mother of Sultan Ahmed III. The calligraphy inside the mosque is the work of Muhammad Afinidi. Back to top
