Introduction
The China Pavilion is located inside Drottningholm Palace and was built in the 1750s. This fairytale-like palace is considered a treasure by the Swedes, as it perfectly combines the best of European rococo furniture with Chinese architectural influences. It depicts the cultural exchange between Asia and Europe in trade that occurred 300 years ago. Drottningholm, where the China Pavilion is located, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
