Introduction

Litomysl Castle is an outstanding example of Bohemian Renaissance architecture, located near the town of Roznov in the Czech Republic. The castle is a holy land in the hearts of high-quality builders, with its colorful and magnificent facades, beautiful arches, and romantic gardens, presenting a colorful trompe-l'oeil decoration. In addition, Litomysl Castle has a mysterious underground world, with deep wine cellars where you can see various characteristic statues created by the famous Czech sculptor Olbram Zoubek. If you're in a good mood, you can also climb to the top of the castle tower and enjoy the beautiful scenery around. Furthermore, the outer walls of the castle are decorated with colorful trompe-l'oeil "envelope" bricks, with one different brick painted among every 8,000 bricks. Inside the castle, you can feel the past wealth and luxury, with luxurious rooms displaying various pianos and hosting permanent exhibitions. The characteristics of the entire castle make it a prominent entry in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
