Introduction
The author of "Gargantua and Pantagruel," François Rabelais, spent his childhood in the region of Chinon. Transportation After leaving the mini Xinning railway station, walk southwest along Av.Gambetta and turn right to walk along the riverside. You will pass Rue Descartes and Quai Jeanned'Arc before reaching the old town in about 5-10 minutes.
