Introduction

The Russian War of Defense Memorial is located at the foot of the Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. It consists of the Hall of Glory, Memorial Hall, Guards Hall, and galleries, built to commemorate the victory of the War of Defense. On November 9, 2008, a friendly delegation from Nanjing, led by Luo Zhijun, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, visited Moscow and signed the "Letter of Intent for the Friendly Museum Co-construction between the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall and the Russian War of Defense Memorial".

Opening hours

Open from Tuesday to Sunday (excluding Thursday) from 10:00 to 19:30, and until 20:00 on Thursday. Closed on Mondays and the last Thursday of each month.
