Introduction
Dalongdong was built in 1805 and is located at the confluence of the Tamsui River and the Keelung River. It took 25 years to complete. In front of Bao'an Temple, there is a pair of uniquely shaped stone lions. Normally, the stone lions in temples are a pair of male and female lions, with the male lion's mouth open and the female lion's mouth closed. However, the stone lions in Bao'an Temple all have their mouths open. According to legend, these stone lions are not ordinary lions, but rather a benevolent beast and a mystical beast, standing in front of the temple to call on people to cherish the law and implement benevolent governance.
