Introduction
Lippo Centre, also known as Lippo Building, is a pair of twin modern buildings located in Admiralty, Central and Western District, Hong Kong Island. It is a Grade A office building, measuring 172 meters in height with 44 floors, and together with the Far East Finance Centre, forms the building complex. The total area of the two buildings is 97,575 square meters.
I first learned about the Lippo Centre from a cover of an architectural magazine. Interestingly, the design inspiration for the building's exterior came from the Australian koala, which gives it a very cute appearance. The façade of the building looks like several cute little koalas climbing up. Although it may not be a perfect resemblance, it is still quite impressive. Located in Central, this building forms a diagonal line with the famous Bank of China Tower, making it a distinctive landmark in the area.
For Mainland China permanent residents who are born in Hong Kong, even if they hold a Taiwan visa, they still need to apply at the Lippo Centre. Address Tower 2, Cotton Tree Drive, Admiralty, Hong Kong, Central and Western District, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong, 0000, China
