Introduction

The Tai Wai Comprehensive Cultural Museum is located in the Sha Tin District of Hong Kong's New Territories and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The museum covers various fields including history, art, and culture, with a construction cost of over HKD 800 million. It was opened to the public on December 17, 2000. The museum has 12 exhibition venues and covers an area of ​​7,500 square meters, making it one of the largest museums in Hong Kong. As of the 2009/10 fiscal year, the total number of visitors has reached 479,000.

Opening hours
Monday, Wednesday to Friday 10:00-18:00, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 10:00-19:00, Christmas Eve and Lunar New Year's Eve 10:00-17:00, closed on Tuesday (except public holidays) and Lunar New Year's Day and Day 2. Ticket sales will close 30 minutes before the museum closing time.
Transportation
Take the MTR to Che Kung Temple Station (Exit A), and then walk for about 5 minutes; or to Sha Tin Station (Exit A), and then walk for about 15 minutes, to reach the destination.
