Introduction

The building was designed by the renowned Chinese-American architect Mr. I. M. Pei, and construction started on April 18, 1985. It was built by the Kume Construction and completed in 1989. It is the third tallest building in Hong Kong, surpassed only by the International Finance Centre and Central Plaza. The building was officially inaugurated on May 17, 1990.
