Introduction

Fukuoka City Zoo has a history of over half a century. In the zoo, you can observe about 130 species of animals, including endangered gorillas, Arabian oryx, and domestically rare birds like the Paradise Bird. In the botanical garden, you can see about 2,600 species of plants, including Maidenhair Trees. Highly recommended is the park's pride, the Ferris wheel, which is said to offer a view of the entire Fukuoka city area!
