Introduction

Mumbai University, founded in 1857, is one of India's oldest and largest comprehensive universities, offering courses in various fields. The university is also known as the alma mater of Mahatma Gandhi. If you appreciate Gothic architecture, you can visit the campus and admire the numerous 15th-century French Gothic buildings, including the clock tower, library, and parliament building, all of which are exquisitely designed. The campus is also adorned with towering palm trees and vibrant bougainvillea, creating a unique and exotic atmosphere.
