Introduction

Gandhi's Tomb is located in the eastern suburbs of New Delhi, and it is a memorial dedicated to India's father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Although his actual remains are not interred here, the tomb holds great symbolic significance in honoring and remembering him. The entire memorial is solemn and dignified, with a simple black marble tomb at its center, devoid of any elaborate decorations yet exuding an air of elegance. A perpetual light burns behind the tomb, symbolizing the spirit and will of India's struggle for independence. Additionally, on the front of the tomb, are engraved Gandhi's last words before he was assassinated: "Hey Ram!" - an expression of his emotions at that moment, forever etched in the hearts of the Indian people.
