Introduction
The largest Sikh pilgrimage site in Delhi, India, is called Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. There is a touching story that took place here. The eighth Guru of the Sikh religion, Har Krishan, started using clean well water at the age of 8 to help patients with smallpox and cholera. Unfortunately, he contracted the diseases himself and passed away. His sacrifice and love left a deep impression on people. The water in the temple is considered holy water, believed to have healing properties, and Sikh followers from all over the world take it back to their hometowns.
